my stay at olmeca plaza exceeded my expectations. the valet parking was super handy, and the room was clean and comfortable. i also loved the buffet breakfast and the pet-friendly vibe!

the swimming pool needs repairs.

I thought I’d catch a break, but the rude reception staff and the ‘free’ breakfast were just laughable. I woudl ve been satisfied with a room upgrade for the troubles, but apparently, that’s too much to ask at a 4-star hotel. Just couldn’t give a good review after these experiences, it’s truly sad!

Some parts shine, others fall flat

The staff were friendly and accommodating with a pet-friendly atmosphere offering valet parking. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the bed was clean and comfortable to rest in after the day's adventures.

The Wi-Fi was inconsistent and the air conditioning was outdated and noisy. Problems with the shower's hot water and intermittent internet access were frustrating and affected the overall comfort.

Be sure to bring your own toiletries, as the hotel supplies may not meet your expectations, particularly for better quality items.

The room service pricing was very reasonable and the staff were professional, which was a bright spot during my stay.

Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness of the common areas was below expectations, particularly the pool, which had visible grime and debris.

The restaurant/bar offered good food at reasonable prices. I really enjoyed the tuna salad served in avocado shells and the club sandwich. The location allowed easy access to local attractions, making it perfect for exploring. However, the room was a bit disappointing. The air conditioning was noisy and barely masked the street noise. There were issues with the cold water in the shower, and the hot water barely reached tepid levels. The smoke alarm beeped intermittently at night, disrupting sleep. Upon reporting it, the staff seemed indifferent to fixing it. Despite being centrally located, the overall state of the hotel felt neglected, with hallways and rooms appearing dark and in need of renovations. My experience was frustrating at times, especially with the service responsiveness. Wouldn't recommend staying for more than a night.

The pool was a hit with my teenagers, and we all loved the convenient location for shopping and food. Plus, the bellboy was super friendly, helping us settle in and making sure everything was good to go.

My children wanted more activities for kids.

The room was spacious and clean, with the added bonus of a safe in the closet, which gave me peace of mind. Staff brought some fun amenities for our pet, which was a nice surprise that felt welcoming.

the hotel is just a short walk from juarez park and the beautiful villahermosa cathedral, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot and enjoying the local scenery.

My stay was great with a comfy room and delicious buffet breakfast. The only downside was the old A/C, which could really use an upgrade. I'd stay here again!
